The Stars Appeal

'We need your help  with our most ambitious project to date – bringing 68-70 Church Street back to life, after years of neglect.

The construction work is finished, the two flats are occupied by local people who were in housing need, and the shop is almost ready for it’s new role as a pop-up shop for the community.

Please donate now to help us raise the final £21,000, by the end of September!

As a regular visitor to your town.  I think this is a clever idea to offer affordable accommodation and support for the community.  Clearly, an improvement to the appearance of the building can only enhance the existing charm of the town in general.
Having grown up in Bishops Castle, but having to move away for work I feel that any support is needed for affordable accommodation for local people, but also upskilling people for future employment. This shop used to be the Heart if the town and needs to be supported.
It's a very prominent building in a central location in the town. It needs to be brought back into a viable use in order to save the building, improve the appearance of the area and bring life into part of Bishop's Castle.
